Carpenters Arms Restaurant

The restaurant is a slightly more formal area than the Bistro, with its white linen cloths and napkins, crystal glasses and locally made furniture, the menu also moves up a notch. The menu is a good blend of traditional and innovative british modern with european overtones and although there is a emphasis on fish and seafood there is also a good selection of meat dishes.

The food is freshly cooked to order with as much use of seasonal and fresh local products where possible. Try pan-fried calves liver, buttery mash and crispy bacon, whole roast seabass with orange, ginger and coriander or goats cheese, caramelised onions and hazelnut filo parcel or honey dressed leaves.
